This is the usual page you find on all homepages. This is the one where you can read all sorts of details about me. Let's get down to business.
Note: I am trying hard at the moment to find some content to put in here to show that I am not just another tech addict, but it's not an easy task, I tell you. Stay tuned.
My name is Michael Knudsen and I live in Klarup, Denmark. I used to study computer science at the Department of Computer Science, Aalborg University, but eventually they gave me a piece of paper and told me I didn't need to come back. Since then I've been working as a software engineer doing embedded software development.
My Meyers-Briggs type indicator is ISTJ which allegedly only 1% of all people are. My type indicator along with the rest of my site should give you an idea of my ways of life and of how to get along with me.
I consider myself agnostic, and I really do not care about other people's beliefs as long as they respect mine and refrain from trying to persuade me into joining their particular cult.
I have often considered believing, but I have always felt that to start believing, to really believe like iron should believe in metal, would be a bit like growing wings. I wouldn't know which muscle to use.

Similarly to religion, I have a really hard time finding a political party or movement that I can fully identify with. I will be very surprised if there is any.
I tend to have a somewhat lack of confidence in other people, and sometimes I get very impressed that humanity has made it this long. I think this is one of the major reasons that I have very little faith in democracy:
Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than
we deserve.
-- George Bernard Shaw
Obviously, I am very interested in computer related stuff and although this takes up nearly all of my life, I do have other interests:
Among the computer related interest I have, these are my favourite topics:
I enjoy doing many things when I can find the time and place for them:
I like working on interesting things, and I tend to forget the world around me if I find myself getting deep into something. Once I get into this state of mind where the world around me disappears, I can work for hours on end, often forgetting basic things such as hunger. Some of the projects I currently am or have been involved with are:
